Crafting a Sustainable Future in Knitwear
Welcome to Echoknits — where sustainability is knitted into everything we do.
Our state-of-the-art knitwear facility, equipped with automated Japanese Shima Seiki machines, combines precision engineering with environmentally responsible practices to set a new benchmark in sustainable manufacturing.
Our journey is marked by continuous growth and innovation. From humble beginnings with 104 manual machines and 150 workers, we now operate 800 computerised Shima Seiki machines and employ over 3,500 personnel. Our products reach diverse markets across Europe, North and South America, Australasia, and Asia.
With a monthly production capacity exceeding 710,000 pieces — totalling approximately 8.52 million knitwear garments annually — we maintain a strong focus on quality, reliability, and sustainability.
Echoknits is certified for social compliance through BSCI (Amfori), Sedex, Better Work, SLCP, and RSC. Our security standards are upheld through GSV accreditation.
We are deeply committed to environmental responsibility. As participants in the Higg Index and ZDHC programmes, we prioritise energy conservation, water efficiency, and waste reduction. Our use of certified sustainable and recycled yarns — including GOTS, OCS, GRS, and BCI — reflects our dedication to lowering our environmental impact through tangible, forward-thinking initiatives.
